Our foundation
Comfortride Safaris was registered in Kenya in 2014 and is based in Nairobi, at the heart of East Africa.
A good journey begins with feeling understood. We listen carefully, explain each step clearly and keep communication open from your first enquiry until you return home. You always know who you are speaking with, what happens next and how to reach us.
Twelve years of work across Africa have created a practical understanding of the continent, its destinations and the many cultures that make every journey distinct.
Our experience guides every Comfortride journey through thoughtful planning, local knowledge, cultural respect and genuine personal attention.
What inspired Comfortride
Comfortride’s management spent years working with colleagues, customers and partners across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mauritius, Zanzibar, Angola, Nigeria and Ghana.
Those experiences were shaped by people: shared meals, generous hospitality, different ways of seeing the world and professional relationships that often became lasting friendships.
They inspired a belief that tourism can bring Africans closer, deepen cultural understanding and help travellers experience the continent with confidence, comfort and genuine connection.

Tourism with purpose
Africa is not one story. It is a continent of coastlines, cities, wildlife, heritage, food, music and people whose warmth gives every journey its meaning.
